I rarely go to a brick and mortar
bookstore anymore. Sure, I like to browse, and I like to feel of hefting a book.
But with the advent of Amazon, I can get any book sent right to my door. And
with my Kindle, I can get books within minutes, from anywhere in the world.
I can still sample a book before buy, at
least with the Kindle. And frankly, with Amazon, there are many, many more titles
available than with any brick and mortar store. Oh, I will still walk in a store,
especially a used book store, where I can find a treasured out-of-print gem, but for my
basic needs, Amazon can't be beat.
